Gorge Grown’s Food Business Incubator Program provides support to local food and beverage businesses so that they have the skills to launch or scale their businesses. Since 2013 we have engaged over 300 entrepreneurs in workshops in English and Spanish on topics such as branding, marketing, distribution and improving credit.
How it works:
Skills and Resources – We help Businesses cultivate the skills by helping them enroll in classes taught by contracted professional instructors.
Build Connections – We connect business owners and small business lenders, food producers, buyers, and equipment providers.
Celebrate and Showcase – We promote the success of our participants through Farmers Markets and promotional materials like Savor the Gorge.
Funding for this program was provided by Meyer Memorial Trust (2013- 2016) and a USDA Rural Business Enterprise Grant (2015).
