DESCRIPTION:This is a unique opportunity to network and lay the groundwork for getting more local food into schools\, restaurants\, hospitals\, universities\, and businesses. This event is a chance to foster relationships between farmers\, producers and local buyers. \nThe Matchmaker is open to: \nBUYERS of Gorge grown\, raised or processed foods: chefs\, supermarkets\, specialty markets\, restaurants\, hotels\, institutions\, schools\, distributors\, and food processors in search of local ingredients for commercial purposes \nSELLERS of Gorge grown\, raised or processed foods: farmers and food processors \nEveryone who plans to attend is encouraged to bring business cards to ensure successful networking and foster opportunities for follow-up. Farmers are encouraged to bring a product and price list and buyers should come prepared to discuss the details of desired products (crop quality\, quantity\, packaging\, availability\, etc.)  \n  \nRegistration is required. Update: Register by 6pm on Friday\, February 17th for the Buyer+ Seller Matchmaker!
