Wasco County Farmer's Market

2008 Schedule: TBA at The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce office, 404 West 2nd Street, The Dalles.
Interested vendors: The cost is 10% of gross sales up to $100, with a maximum of $10. There's also a community table operated by students from North Wasco County School District. They charge 20% of the value of the items sold for a maximum of $15/vendor. The funds support youth programs.
Acceptable items for sale include fresh and processed and dried agriculture products including fruits, vegetables, flowers, jams, jellies etc. Those who will be selling products through the community table can sign-up weekly from April 15-October 15. The Wasco County Farmers Market is a collaborative effort between local producers, The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce, The Small Business Development Center, Wasco County Soil and Water Conservation District, Wasco County Farm Bureau, North Wasco County School District, Master Gardeners and the OSU Extension Service.

2008 Gorge Grown Farmers’ Market In our third season, the Gorge Grown Farmers’ Market will take place once again at the Hood River Middle School, Thursday evenings from 4-7 p.m. This year, our farmers’ market will run June 19 - Oct. 2, 2008, and fresh food, live music, kids’ activities, and more will be waiting for you. Hood River Middle School student vendors will be selling produce grown in their school garden just feet away. Food Stamps (EBT) and Debit cards will be accepted. The Husum Farmers' Market opens for the season on July 5! Gorge Grown is happy to be working again this season with the Husum Farmers' Market, now in its second season!
The Husum Farmer's Market will open for its 2nd wonderful season in early July. The Market will run on Saturdays from 9am until noon, in the grassy field adjacent to the Whitewater Cafe in Husum (across the road from the Husum Hills Golf Course along Hwy 141 in Washington just south of Husum).

The White Salmon Children's Farmers' Market in downtown White Salmon, WA welcomes children of all ages to set up and sell produce, crafts, and homemade goods. Pam helps the kids market and sell their wares, making it a fun, friendly learning experience for all. The market starts in mid- to late-June, depending on when produce is ready, and goes through the end of September. If folks have winter goods to sell after September, call Pam, and she'll be happy to help at any time. Kids are always welcome here!

Small i Farm is located on 2.5 acres 3.5 miles out side of White Salmon up Snowden Road. Its introductory year established a productive garden space, the beginnings of permanent perennial beds and plans are laid for fruiting crops to go in early 2008.
